Course Outline
The number of children with anxiety has risen over the last number of years, for many complex reasons. Anxiety can have different symptoms, and usually causes distress to children and limits their experiences. It is helpful to know that there are many things we can do to support an anxious child, including striking a balance between supporting them whilst also empowering them to deal with their anxious thoughts and feelings.
This talk will outline the protective factors in supporting children, as well as offering several evidence-based coping strategies that children can use to help them to feel safe, strong, and confident.
