Facilitator Bio

Emer has been working in education since 2006. She has worked in DEIS and non-DEIS schools as a class teacher and in SET roles. In 2019-20, she trained as a Forest School leader, and in 2021, she decided to take a break from the classroom to work as an Education Coordinator at Global Action Plan (GAP). In this role, she works with a variety of schools and community groups, focusing on nature connection, outdoor learning, global citizenship education, and nature-based learning for students and teachers
